This year's reunion promises to be another fun gathering of the Grey-Haired Teenagers.  Lin Harris (class of '61) will be our host and has been working with the Reunion Committee to put together three days of activities that should appeal to all.

So it's now time for you to start planning your trip and book your reservations.  We are fortunate to have found another hotel that has worked with us to meet our needs, making it affordable with all the amenities that we have become accustomed to: low rates (before and after the reunion dates; hospitality room; free breakfast; and permission to bring in our own food and beverages just to mention a few.

All room rates are quoted on a net non-commissionable basis and do not include applicable taxes. (Occupancy tax for Asheville is 4% and NC State tax is 7.75%)

RESERVATION METHOD:

In order for your guests to make their individual reservations as conveniently as possible, please advise them to contact one of our Reservations Departments as shown below. It is important for group reservations to be received by our Reservations Department no later than August 26, 2011. After the cut-off date, no reservations will be accepted at the special group rate.

Direct hotel reservations can be made twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week by calling the following number (828) 684-6688. Please have the guests refer to the Livorno-American High School

GUEST ROOM CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIME:

Check-in Time: 3:00 PM. Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
All guests arriving before the scheduled time will be accommodated, as rooms are available. Our Front Desk and Bell Staff will gladly to provide luggage storage in the event rooms are not available.

Area Attractions:
The Quality Inn & Suites™ Biltmore South is ideally located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Asheville Regional Airport. This Arden, NC hotel is minutes from area attractions like the North Carolina Arboretum, the Asheville Urban Trail and the Biltmore Estate.
Reunion Schedule of Events
 
As a reminder, please bring your high school memorabilia (yearbooks, etc.) to share with other alumni.  Don't forget to check the weather -- The highs are forecast to be in the mid-60s and there's a chance of rain all days, especially Friday (20% chance of thunderstorms), other days 
partly cloudy.

Thursday Evening

•Hotel Lobby  - Welcome & get together 
•There is no hospitality room for Thursday
•Our host, Lin, will have brochures and maps for people to plan day trips 
        and will be available to suggest things.
•Lunch & Dinner – Nothing planned.  Suggest local eateries
 
Friday Morning

•Hotel Lobby - Complimentary hearty deluxe continental breakfast (free) 
•Hospitality Room (open 6 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.) - get together (music, beverages & light snacks)
 
Friday Noon
 
•Hospitality Room (open 6 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.)  - get together (music, beverages & light                   snacks) 
•1 p.m. - Biltmore House Tour (optional – suggest Friday as Saturday will be too busy) 
oTickets can be purchased from hotel or on-line in advance 
oCarpooling recommended

Friday Evening
